OSULA sends special thanks to Buckeye alum Patricia Heaton

We would like to send an enthusiastic thank you to Buckeye alum and Hollywood celebrity Patricia Heaton for entertaining and sharing many laughs with some of our Los Angeles Buckeye alumni on March 21 at the CBS Studio Center in Studio City, CA.  OSULA was fortunate enough to be part of the live studio audience for the pilot episode filming of Heaton’s new sitcom “Carol’s Second Act.”

The new CBS comedy centers around Carol Chambers (Patricia Heaton), who after raising her two children and retiring from teaching, embarks on a unique second act: becoming a doctor. Heaton’s co-stars include Kyle MacLachlan, Bonnie Dennison and Ito Aghayere.

Heaton, a Bay Village, OH native, received her bachelor’s degree in drama from Ohio State and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.

She is best known for her starring nine-season role in the popular CBS television series “Everybody Loves Raymond,” where she won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.  She also starred for nine seasons in the recent hit ABC comedy “The Middle”, which wrapped in May 2018.

Be sure to stay tuned for “Carol’s Second Act” this fall on CBS.

And to Patricia Heaton from OSULA… O-H!  #BuckeyeForLife
