I’m now in my Junior year at THE Ohio State University, and I can say with certainty that it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life!  The opportunities available at OSU are limitless.  Since my enrollment in 2012, living in Columbus has been radically different than back in LA – but winter isn’t so bad when you’re never bored!

As a member of the Green Engineering Scholars program in my first two years, I had the opportunity to travel engineering related events and conferences in cities across the Eastern U.S. – including Boston, Chicago, and Detroit.  Having the opportunity to gain experiences related to my major while travelling to so many great places is just one of the many of the reasons I chose Ohio State.  My involvement in OSU’s National  Society of Collegiate scholars has also opened me up to many new opportunities, including a trip to New Zealand last summer.

However the best part of OSU is being part of the traditions.  Amid all the exciting changes happening at Ohio State, waking up on a Fall Saturday morning and crossing the Oval to the stadium is still the best part of attending OSU.  This past football season was nothing short of history, and the opportunity to be apart of that legacy while it happened is a feeling I will never forget.
